The outbreak of COVID-19 caused great changes at the level of the whole society. Academy was not exempt from that. Therefore, the first pilot course on research-based learning underwent some changes according to the virtuality of education. In spite of that, the changes have been overcome with great success.
The document reflects on and describes the design of the first pilot course of research-based learning in tourism students, while mentioning the strategies anchored in Ecuadorian education laws and technological resources to make learning reflective, dynamic and creative.
