Last week, as part of the project Strengthening the well-being of female international students at the University of Cuenca who live alone, through the connection with tourism and gastronomic experiences, we held a highly productive meeting with the University Welfare team.
During this meeting, we discussed ways to collaborate to enhance the well-being of students living alone, highlighting the importance of integrating tourism and gastronomy as tools for support and integration. The main objective was to identify activities that create an inclusive and enriching environment, allowing these students to enjoy cultural and culinary experiences that strengthen their sense of belonging and well-being in the city.
As a result of this collaboration, we planned several joint activities that will be implemented in the coming weeks. These activities aim to provide the students with recreational and learning opportunities, contributing to their adaptation and personal growth during their time at the university. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting initiatives!
